The quiz bowl team will be traveling to Mobile, Alabama February 3-6 to compete in the regional Southern Agriculture Economics Association (SAEA) meetings. At regional’s the teams are randomly selected with students from other schools. Each team consists of three people, and they compete in a double elimination Jeopardy like tournament, testing the teams on their agriculture economics knowledge.

This year’s quiz bowl members formed a class in fall 2006 in which they meet once a week for a one hour credit. In this class they compete, discuss questions, researched, and make their own questions.

This year’s quiz bowl members consist of: Becky Ashton, Hillary Custis, Dan Dawley, Charlotte Hansen, Stacy Maher, Tafral Middleton, Jerrod Miller, John Muncy, Amie Ruggles, Caroline Salisbury, Wendy Slusher, Steve Weadon, and Coach Kurt Stephenson.
